“Named after our grandfather’s best friend since childhood, Carlos Prieto, lovingly referred to as “El Gordo”. They met as children in school and have been inseparable
ever since. He also taught our father a lot about farming and has helped him many times since he purchased his first farm in 1987.

Sadly, Carlos suffered a massive stroke years ago that left him bedridden.

This lot, managed exclusively by our grandfather Johnny, is a tribute to him, his friendship, and all the coffee knowledge he has passed to our family.”
